The Team

Coolhouse was build by a deep and proven team of entrepreneurs, investors, and operators. We’ve run fortune 500 companies, elected a president, built companies, advised international governments, launched global brands, and have built products that have changed industries. We’ve achieved conventional success in unconventional ways. We are self-made risk takers that have built our careers on developing authentic relationships and finding the alternative paths to success, and we’ve instilled that same culture into Coolhouse Labs and the companies we invest in.

Jordan Breighner, Founder and Managing Director

Coolhouse Labs is the brainchild of our Founder Jordan Breighner. The idea behind Coolhouse Labs came out of a desire to prove that big ideas can come to life in a small town.

Jordan ran the day to day operations of the accelerator, which means making leading investment decisions, fundraising, strategic direction, dealflow, and working hands on with the Coolhouse Labs Portfolio companies. Jordan was a member of the 2008 Obama Data Analytics Team, and worked in the Obama White House and at the Department of Homeland Security. He has worked in roles as varied as communications, strategy, branding, product, and business development for Fortune 500s and technology startups for the past 6 years. In a former life he was a "professional" ski racer.

Greg is a Partner @ Coolhouse Labs and plays an active role in fundraising, strategic direction, dealflow, and investment decisions. He is an active Angel investor, advisor, and entrepreneur. Greg is the founder of two advanced materials startups, and Locke Mountain Ventures a seed stage investment fund based out of NYC.

Gregg Srinivasan, Partner

Gregg is a Partner @ Coolhouse Labs and plays an active role in fundraising, strategic direction, dealflow, and investment decisions. He serves as the chair of our Advisory Board. Gregg has more than 20 years experience as an investor, lawyer, entrepreneur, CEO, and advisor. The Stanford Law grad comes to Coolhouse Labs after a successful career as a lawyer and entrepreneur in NYC.

Jared headed up our external operations engaging with our stakeholders including mentors, corporate partners, and portfolio companies. He also plays a key role in performing active search and due diligence analysis on potential portfolio companies. Jared is a northern Michigan native and a University of Michigan Alum, and
has been cutting his teeth in the San Francisco startup world at Copilot Labs (acquired by OpenTable) and Hampton Creek ($95M Series C). Jared has worked in a variety of roles from supply chain and operations to business development and growth.
